But it's not easy. At the Behavioural Public Policy Lab, we study real policy problems using a mixed-methods toolkit: surveys, interviews, administrative data, and field experiments.  

We sequence our methods so that we learn something new at each stage. By the time we run a field experiment, we know more about the problem and the people involved.
